Pro migrant bloggers everywhere,
The Sunlight Foundation has been operating OpenCongress.org , a mashup about congress stuff. The website has had a “blog coverage” section for bills for some time now. I don’t think it’s a high-traffic site yet, but I think it has the potential to be one, and your blog postings will get listed here if they include the right bill numbers (e.g. S. 729 for the DREAM Act).
So my recomm is include bill numbers when you post about immigration reform legislation!
For your reference NAKASEC’s recent policy update was listed under the DREAM Act page after posting yesterday and we got ~15 hits from there. Having more pro-migrant postings around immigration bills in these pages shows that there is a sizable public support for immigrant rights. Just in case, register yourselves on Technorati as well.
While we are on the topic of blog searchability, where do you all ping when posting? I have KRC’s blog pinging the below services:
www.allblog.net/RpcP.. <- this one is Korean
