44 years after MLK Jr.’s death, hate rhetoric still persists

Talk show hosts, John & Ken (KFI AM 640), made racist comments about Korean American stereotypes on their show this week.

[John] No, there’s certain cultures that become involved in certain lines of work, and they bring their –

As a part of the Korean American community in Los Angeles, we are offended and concerned about ‘hate talk-shows’ like this that spread hate rhetoric in the name of free speech. As we have seen repeatedly, hate speech can easily incite less rational people to harm others. Is this a case of anything goes as long as it boosts the ratings?
