On June 15, the Department of Homeland Security announced a new
policy that will stop the deportation of undocumented young
people through Deferred Action and grant work authorization.
Interested parents and young people are invited to join the

Anyone living in the U.S. can call. The teleconference will last
one hour and will be conducted in both English and Korean. On
hand will be an immigration attorney who will talk about what we
know so far of the process.

APALC to hold community forum for DREAMers and parents
The Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC) is holding a
community forum for undocumented youth and parents who want to
learn more about the new deferred action policy, which will
allow DREAMers to apply for temporary work permits and to be
safe from deportation. Lawyers and organizers will provide
information regarding the deferred action policy, including:
eligibility requirements, what you can do to get ready to apply
when the process is announced around mid?August, and how to
protect yourself from misinformation. Learn the latest updates
regarding deferred action for DREAMers.
