FREE CITIZENSHIP Workshop
DATE/TIME:
Saturday, August 4, 2012
9am to 2pm
LOCATION: Garden Grove United Methodist Church
12741 Main Street, Garden Grove, CA 92840
Join us on this day, whether it’s to take the first step towards obtaining your citizenship or to volunteer to help others!
This workshop was put together as an effort to encourage the rapidly growing Korean American population in Orange County to become naturalized citizens and to engage in full civic participation. KRC has provided free naturalization assistance as part of the civic participation project since 2006 to build the political power of Korean Americans.
More info: APPOINTMENT REQUIRED. After registration, you will receive assistance with the naturalization application (N-400) and we will provide passport style photos and packing materials to mail your application. A final review of the application will be conducted by an immigration attorney. Please bring all necessary documents.
For more information contact us at (323) 937-3718 or email Sun Joon at sun joon@krcla.org
To make this happen, we need Korean speaking volunteers to fill out the application. Please consider volunteering with us and feel free to pass on the word. There are two shifts: 8am-12pm and 12pm-3pm. Training will be provided. Please contact Sun Joon at sunjoon@krcla.org for more info.

KRC’s naturalization work is also nationally coordinated through NAKASEC (National Korean American Service & Education Consortium).
