KRC launches 2013 elections campaign, “My Parents Vote for Our Future”

Los Angeles – Join the Korean Resource Center (KRC) for the formal launch of its campaign to engage Korean American voters in the 2013 Los Angeles municipal elections. KRC is engaging in a multi-faceted campaign, to build upon its successful campaign to increase Korean American voter turnout and support for education funding in November 2012, and to continue to build the Korean American community’s voting power. Representatives from the Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC) and Mobilize the Immigrant Vote (MIV) coalition will be joining KRC to speak about the importance of protecting voting rights in Los Angeles, the role of the Asian American and immigrant vote, and what to expect as the election cycle continues.
