The next Roundtable will be held on Sept. 20, 2:00 – 4:00 PM at CHC – agenda to follow shortly. If you have not already done so, please RSVP to Korie Flournoy at Korie@chc-inc.org.

This is a series of the community roundtable meeting following the closure of MLK-Harbor Hospital and its impact on the South LA community. The first meeting was held on August 16, 2007 at the end of which a second roundtable meeting was set with the purpose of getting updates on the timing of county plans in terms of the continuation of health services; issues and concerns; services available at the hospital site now that it has become MLK-MACC; report back from the communications workgroup on the community outreach campaign; and start the discussion on stakeholders’ involvement in plans to re-open MLK as a hospital.
