The Alliance of Korean American Students in Action (AKASIA, 아카시아) organizes Korean American undergraduate and graduate students through training, educating, assisting, fundraising and volunteering. AKASIA is guided by the principles of educational rights, social justice and love of community.

AKASIA's mission is as follows:

  • Educate Korean American college students on issues that impact them/community
  • Train new leaders through various workshops
  • Assist students for access to higher education
  • Fundraise for just causes and activities
  • Volunteer in community projects
