- There will be a "cloture" vote on the DREAM Act (S.2205) at the Senate on 10/24/07.

- 10/24 9:50 am - The cloture vote on the DREAM Act did not pass by 52 yeses and 44 noes. Feinstein voted yes, and Boxer was not present during the vote. The vote needed 60 yeses. This means that the DREAM Act would not proceed quickly as we expected, but there is still time to try other methods. 드림법안을 신속히 통과시키는 것(cloture)에 대한 표결이 실패했습니다. 그러나 아직 여러가지 방법이 남아있습니다. Stay tuned!
드림법안은 서류미비자라는 이유만으로 현행 이민법상 대학에 진학하는 것에 많은 어려움을 겪는 학생들을 위한 법안입니다. 드림법안은 서류미비학생이 대학에 진학하여 미국 사회에 성공적으로 기여할 수 있도록 이끌 것입니다. 자세한 것은 드림법안을 참고하십시오.
수많은 드림학생들은 어린 나이에 미국으로 와서 미국을 자신의 보금자리로 여기나 현행 이민법은 이들을 배척하여 고등교육과 더 나은 미래 그리고 큰 꿈을 가질 기회를 빼앗습니다.

드림법안이 2007년 2월과 3월 사이 의회에 상정되었습니다 (상원법안 번호 S.774, 하원법안 번호 H.R. 1275). 의원들에게 전화를 걸어 드림법안 지지를 당부하거나 민족학교에 대리 전화를 요청하시고, 다음의 용지를 작성합으로서 드림법안 엽서카드를 서명하십시오:
The DREAM (Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors) Act allows undocumented students to go to college and become successful US citizens. More information at DREAM Act.
Many DREAM students came to the US at an early age and consider the US their home yet because of some immigration laws, they find themselves deprived of higher education, deprived of a future, and deprived of the opportunity to dream.

DREAM is currently introduced in Congress as S. 774 and H.R. 1275. You can:
- Call your Representative & Senators and urge them to support the DREAM Act!
