한인 커뮤니티의 정치력 신장을 위해 모여주셔서 감사드립니다. 저희 민족학교와 NAKASEC에서는 전국적 차원의 이민 개혁 켐페인의 다음 단계로서 유권자 등록 및 교육 활동을 더 집중적으로 재개하려고 합니다. 한인 이민자 커뮤니티의 투표 행사는 일부 단체뿐만이 아니라 한인 커뮤니티 일반의 관심사이기에 모두가 하나로 힘을 모아 이를 진행하고자 합니다.

일반적으로 정치력 신장을 위하여서는 선거 켐페인, 특정 이슈와 관하여 정치인들에게 편지 쓰기, 전화하기, 정치인들이 대표성을 지니는 것, 투표 등이 있는데 이 중 가장 큰 영향력을 지니는 것들이 선거 켐페인과 투표입니다. 2004년 대선 동안 라티노 커뮤니티의 유권자 등록 활동이 큰 힘을 발휘한 전례가 있습니다.
