This document is an online companion to the KRC website training that will be carried out on Friday, June 23 2006 3:00am - 4:30 pm.
Website Overview
krcla.org has several components, most of which are displayed in the front page, which is http://krcla.org/news/english/ for english language and http://krcla.org/news/korean/ for korean language.
At the screenshot below, I marked different components with colors based on how much control we have over them.
- Black sections (Toolbox, Search, Login Icon, Footer) are not so easy to change.
- Purple sections (#Language, #Submenu) are more or less static (you don't need to change them often), but they can be changed fairly easily.
- Red sections (#Announcements, #News, #Photos) are "streaming content" that are controllable easily.
- Orange section (#Bulletin Board) are "streaming content" that can only be controlled by deleting posts in the bulletin board - they can't be otherwise controlled.
