The Korean Resource Center (KRC) and the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) cosponsored a “Pro Bono Legal Clinic,” which has been running on a monthly basis since June 2004. Joanne Lee, an attorney from LAFLA, provides her expertise and consultation services on a variety of issues including family law (divorce, alimony, domestic violence, child custody/visitation rights), immigration law (deportation, application for legal permanent residency for victims of domestic violence, applications for citizenship and family reunification), and labor law. Clinics are held every fourth Fridays of the month on an appointment basis only.
