#KnowYourRights: When You Face Hate Speech and Violence

As the COVID-19 fear is growing, unfortunately, hate crime & violence within the Asian American community is also increasing. Korean Resource Center wants to support anyone who is facing this kind of hardship! #KnowYourRights and reach out to us if you ever need our support.

When you encounter any hate speech and violence here is the general instruction:

  • Record location, time, and date

  • Get witness names and contact information

  • Photograph anything related to the incident

  • Contact KRC (julie@krcla.org)

California has laws to protect persons from violence, discrimination, and denial of services. KRC will support you.
