On November 21st, KRC held its Bridge Across People (BAP) 2020 graduation ceremony at the Crenshaw office. The event was also streamed live via Zoom for those who signed up to attend remotely.

The graduation ceremony was conducted in two parts: the Opening Ceremony was attended by the greater public and community leaders. The second part was the Award Ceremony and was open only to the family and friends of the graduating class, as well as KRC staff members. It was a beautiful ceremony that celebrated the amazing work of BAP’s 13 interns, as well as 18 weeks of challenging and rewarding experiences and growth.

We have so much more work that needs to be accomplished, including our work with youth as exemplified by the Bridge Across People internship program which will continue next year.

Here are a few ways you can help this year:

  • Donate a cash gift now: Any gift, no matter how big or small, can make a huge difference to support our Bridge Across People internship program today and in 2021.

  • Membership: Become a KRC member and help sustain our movement of empowering and serving immigrants.
